Crown Prince highlights RMAS training standards

ManamaThe exemplary standards of Royal Military Academy Sandhurst’s (RMAS) teaching and training, and the discipline it instils in its graduates was highlighted by Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa.

The Crown Prince made the statements while receiving Commander of the Royal Guard Brigadier HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, , at Riffa Palace in the presence of BDF Commander-in-Chief Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa

The Crown Prince also  commended the RMAS graduates reunion organised by the BDF in the Kingdom from 6-7 November. 

Prince Salman also welcomed the efforts of Shaikh Nasser and the individuals involved in the organisation of the event, noting that it reflects the strong ties between Bahrain and the United Kingdom.

He also extended his best wishes to the reunion participants in their professional careers, particularly in regards to their national service.

Major HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Commander of the Royal Guard Special Force and His Highness Lieutenant Shaikh Mohamed bin Salman Al Khalifa, son of the Crown Prince also attended the meeting.

Earlier, during the reunion, the BDF Commander-in-Chief welcomed the Commandant of RMAS and its graduates, stressing the glory of the academy and its outstanding role in grooming officers.

Shaikh Nasser in his speech welcomed the BDF Commander-in-Chief, RMAS Commandant Major General Paul Nanson and the guests from brotherly and
friendly countries. He commended the role of RMAS, since its establishment in 1802, in the graduation of many military leaderships all over the world. Shaikh Nasser also took pride in being one of the academy graduates, pointing out that more than 110 leading figures in Bahrain are RMAS alumni.
