Electronic draw on Al Hajiyat units launched
Manama : The e-draw on the housing units which will be allocated to eligible recipients of the Al Hajiyat project has been started by the The Ministry of Housing.
The move follows the order issued by Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa to distribute an additional 3200 units.
Undersecretary Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed Al-Khalifa stressed that the additional units will meet citizens’ needs in all areas and governorates.
Under the first phase, the ministry recently distributed 3,000 housing units to eligible recipients.
Al-Hajiyat project features on Government Action Programme (GAP) which stipulates the construction of 25,000 housing units, a scheme which stems from the royal order to build 40,000 houses.
