Kooheji takes part at Brave 2 Dynasty

ManamaBahrain’s Hamza Kooheji is set to take part and make another giant stride in his MMA career at the Brave 2: Dynasty at Khalifa Sports City in Isa Town on December 2.

The KHK MMA protégé has made a listering start to his career, winning four out of his first five professional bouts and most impressively, when the pressure was on at Brave 1: “The Beginning”  he delivered his finest performance and showed the confidence he possesses.

Kooheji started his Mixed Martial Art career back in 2011 at the age of 19. At that time, the sport was relatively new in the Kingdom of Bahrain with only a handful of practitioners willing to engage in competition.

After less than one year of mixed martial arts training, Kooheji made his professional debut in India’s Super Fight League where he made national history earning his first ever victory at an international MMA competition for Bahrain.

He then continued to excel after defeating Saudi Arabia’s Abdul Malek Mardi in his second professional fight.

He was one of the first professional fighters to join team KHK MMA, which was established in 2015 through the support of its founder HH Shaikh Khalid Bin Hamad Al Khalifa.  Closely supporting him in his corner, Kooheji went on to face Jordanian Ghaleb Al Harahsheh, the winner of Desert Force Al Academiya season 2 featherweight title and snatched a second TKO (Technical Knockout) win back in May, 2015.

Following his first career defeat he bounced back with a stunning submission win in September at Brave 1 and all eyes will be on him next month.
