Al Salam Bank signs agreement with BIBF

ManamaAl Salam Bank-Bahrain has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with The Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF) to further enhance human capital skills and knowledge through the Bahrain International Project Management Convention that will take place in November. 

The MoU, according to Al Salam Bank, aims to facilitate the cooperation between the two organisations in providing relevant activities for the training and development of human capital in the project management field. 

The convention, which is an initiative by the BIBF, is the first of its kind event to take place in the region. The programme will include a series of training courses, workshops and fun corporate activities highlighting various topics related to the science and art of project management. 

On this occasion, the BIBF’s Deputy Director Dr. Ahmed Abdulhameed Al Shaikh said, “This partnership comes at a time when the project management discipline is growing and more organisations identify its importance for the delivery of better results within a given projects’ framework.”

On his part, Al Salam Bank’s Deputy Group CEO – Banking, Anwar Murad said that training and development forms a fundamental part of Al Salam Bank-Bahrain strategy for its human capital.” 

The convention will comprise of 30 specialised workshops conducted by professional Project Management International Experts that covers all business sectors. A first of its kind in Bahrain, a competition in the project management field will be launched as part of the convention, according to a statement released.
