Media projects to be inaugurated tomorrow
Manama : A number of projects pertaining to developing Bahrain TV, the News Centre and the National Communication Centre (NCC) will be inaugurated tomorrow under the patronage of Prime Minister HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa
The move is part of the government’s initiatives to upgrade national media, keep it abreast of international developments and boost its capability to project Bahrain’s development achievements.
Minister of Information Affairs Ali bin Mohammed Al Rumaihi stressed the national media’s role in fast-tracking Bahrain’s development and democratic achievements, while preserving the Kingdom’s Arab and Islamic identity and defending national, GCC and Arab security.
The Minister also lauded the vision of HRH Premier to develop the media and telecommunication sector by enhancing cooperation with regional and international mass media and by utilizing modern technologies.
