Alba names new manager
Manama : Aluminium Bahrain (Alba), the Bahrain-based international aluminium smelter, announced the appointment of Fuad A. Hussain, a Bahraini national, as the new Manager for Calciner & Marine.
Fuad A. Husain joined Alba in 1992 as an Operator in Power Station. In 2010, he was appointed as Superintendent, Desalination & Marine Operations and in 2012, was promoted to Senior Superintendent of the same Department.
Commenting on Fuad A. Husain’s appointment, Alba’s Chief Executive Officer Tim Murray said: “Fuad’s appointment is an ideal example of Alba’s belief in developing and promoting Bahraini nationals from within the Company to high level management positions. The Calciner & Marine plays a crucial role in Alba’s operations, especially as we embark on further expansion.”
Fuad A. Husain has an Associate Diploma in Chemical Engineering, University of Bahrain and holds an MBA from University College of Bahrain as well as Huddersfield University, UK.
