Former ISB student dies in housefire in UK

Manama: A Bahrain resident’s daughter died in a house fire in UK. Sharon Soares Alvares, a former student of the Indian School Bahrain (ISB) died in a fire that broke out in a house in Manchester Road in Swindon, a large town in Wiltshire, South West England.

Her mother Jeanette Rodrigues E Soares, who is residing in Manama, announced the death of her loving daughter in a Facebook post yesterday.

‘’Our loving daughter and sister Sharon Soares-Alvares, passed away peacefully into the abode of our Heavenly Father today (after the fire incident at her home in the UK). It was God's will that she leave the world at this young age.

To all you who knew her, she was a loving, kind-hearted and ever smiling person.

We thank the Lord for her life and the beautiful time he gave us with her.

Sharon was staying with her husband Blaise Alvares and 18-month-old daughter Brooke when the fire broke out.

According to sources, six family members were trapped inside the two-storey terraced home in Manchester road after the massive blaze broke out in the wee hours of Sunday.
