Sentence upheld in cops murder attempt case
Manama : The Supreme Appeals Court has upheld the sentence issued against a rioter convicted of attempting to murder two cops.
The appellant was among five Bahrainis accused in connection with the case. All were earlier given 15 years in prison each.
The were charged in connection with hurling firebombs at a patrol vehicle of police officers in Sanad on August 26, 2013.
