11-year-old gives birth in hospital
Manama : A 11-year-old girl reportedly gave birth in a hospital in Manama yesterday.
The girl was accompanied by two men and a woman. Hospital officials informed the authorities before accepting the pregnant girl.
“The girl was brought here after other hospitals refused to admit her. She was accompanied by 3 adults, whose relationship to the girl is unknown.
The father of the baby is also not identified. The men are heard to be Syrian nationals,” a source said.
A spokesperson from Ministry of Health said that the Ministry will not confirm or comment on the case. The Ministry of Interior also declined when asked for a confirmation.
