Top honour for GPIC employee
Manama : Bahrain’s American Chamber of Commerce has honoured Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company (GPIC) Human Resources Superintendent Najat Sharif.
She was recognised as one of the outstanding women leaders of the region during an event organised by the Regional Council of the American Chamber of Commerce in Abu Dhabi.
Najat Sharif was honoured along with four other women leaders from the GCC, Europe and the United State.
GPIC President Dr. Abdulrahman Jawahery, who was at the event, congratulated Sharif on receiving this honour, which demonstrates the outstanding ability of Bahraini women to work in leadership positions in top companies.
Saudi Aramco Human Resources Executive Director Huda Al Ghosoun; Statoil Global Business Development Senior Vice President Raghdaa Hassan; Exxon Mobil Middle East and Russia Vice President Kathy Pepper and Houston Methodist Global Healthcare Services President and CEO Kathy Easter were also honoured.
