PM woos Chinese investment
Manama : Prime Minister HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa highlighted Bahrain’s keenness to consolidate cooperation with China in various fields. These include the investment sector as well as economic and tourism development through the private sector.
The PM was speaking while receiving Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA) President Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa at the Gudaibiya Palace
yesterday.
Shun Tak Holdings Limited Managing Director Pansy Ho, who is also the Vice President of China Chamber of Tourism (TCC) and Secretary-General of the Global Tourism Economy Forum (GTEF), was also present. The Prime Minister underscored the importance of investment in the tourism sector, which could provide a wider platform for international cooperation.
The Premier affirmed the government’s support to all efforts that encourage investment in the Kingdom, thanks to the wide-ranging legislation and facilities it has provided.
Pansy Ho thanked the Prime Minister for his unwavering efforts to strengthen Bahraini-Chinese cooperation.
