A firm hand
Manama : Prime Minister HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa yesterday stressed the need to deal firmly with the violations and irregularities mentioned in the National Audit Office (NAO) report.
Prince Khalifa has tasked a government team, led by the Cabinet Affairs Minister, to study the substantial remarks and recommendations included in NAO’s annual report 2015-2016. The PM also asked the concerned government departments to address the violations and remarks cited in the report and rectify them immediately.
The development comes as the PM chaired the regular weekly Cabinet session, which was also attended by Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
The Prime Minister also directed to continue creating job opportunities for university graduates, and linking education programmes with the development plans and the needs of the labour market.
