Man gets 3 years jail for hiding fugitive
Manama : The High Criminal Court sentenced a Bahraini man to three years behind the bars for hiding a fugitive.
The fugitive was held guilty in connection with a criminal case, but the defendant reportedly provided him a safe haven in an effort to prevent the cops from arresting him.
However, his plan collapsed when the detectives received a tip about the fugitive’s hiding place.
According to court files, the duo were cousins, and the defendant provided him with food and beverages during the one month stay in his apartment.
