‘Modernisation will continue’
Manama : Bahrain will carry on its development and modernisation approach in order to fulfil the citizens’ aspirations, said His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
HM King was speaking while receiving Prime Minister HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa at Al Sakhir Palace yesterday.
Topics related to local issues, and ways to enhance the national action march and consolidate it through achieving the basic goals of comprehensive development topped the agenda of the meeting.
HM the King also received the Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, who is on a visit to the Kingdom as part of his current GCC tour.
King Hamad was briefed on the ongoing preparations for the 37th Summit of the GCC Supreme Council, which is set to be hosted by Bahrain next month.
