Two arrested for robbery
Manama : Two individuals who robbed shops in the Capital Governorate have been arrested, announced security authorities.
The suspects also assaulted people using sharp objects, said the Ministry of Interior in a statement.
Capital Governorate Police General Director Colonel Khalid Al Thawadi said the directorate arrested the perpetrators following numerous complaints received from shop owners.
The suspects are said to have frequently targeted shops and stole money from them.
The official added that legal procedures are being taken in order to refer the case to the Public Prosecution.
