This Bahraini official ‘imagineers’ the future

Manama : A Bahraini official recently forecast the global developments and their possible effects during the Asia Management Conclave’s conference held under the title of “Imagineering the Future” in Lahore, Pakistan.

Dr. Ebrahim Al Dossary, the Assistant Undersecretary for Information and Follow-up at the Prime Minister’s Court, Honorary President at BSTD, Director at IFTDO and President of the Bahrain Meditation Centre, attended the conference as a keynote speaker.

Dr. Al Dossary focused on the importance of predicting the future and studying their effect on our daily lives in both short-term and long-term.

He also focused on the effect one has on shifting the future forecast and shaping them to work in one’s favour. 

Dr. Al Dossary also spoke about many changes and shifts that will take place in the next 20 years including the boom of the Chinese economy as well as the decline of the American and European economies. He also predicted that India will hold a leading position in the global economy. 

Moreover, he prophesied that Amazon and Ebay sales will drop going into fierce competition with Alibaba and similar companies. 

Furthermore, Google will play a big role in the day-to-day human lives in terms of their technological advancements, he said. He also predicted drop in Apple sales, if they maintain the same business strategy, as they will face more competitors from India and China. 

Dr. Al Dossary also forecast that companies will seek to hire computer hackers as cybercrime will increase and become more complicated and harder to pinpoint.

He also prophesied that there would no longer be wars that uses conventional arms and weapons, but instead be replaced by cyber wars where countries overtake rival economies.
