Universal Children’s Day marked
Manama : The Ministry of Interior yesterday celebrated the Universal Children’s Day, which falls on November 20.
Undersecretary Shaikh Nasser bin Abdulrahman Al-Khalifa attended the event held under the theme “Our Children in Our Eyes.”
Ministries and other relevant parties also took part in the event, which is held as part of efforts to foster community partnership.
Assistant Undersecretary for Human Resources Brigadier Adel Amin addressed the ceremony, which was coordinated with ministries, relevant parties and civil society institutions.
The event which opened yesterday at Dohat Arad will continue until tomorrow and will open its doors from 8am till midday.
Later, it will be held in Khalifa bin Salman Park in Hidd from tomorrow till Saturday from 4pm to 8pm.
