Stay safe, warns Bahrain Civil Defence
Manama : Civil Defence has called upon the public to be cautious and stick to precautionary instructions as operations room receives cases round the clock. With heavy rainfall in Bahrain there are chances for water to seep inside houses.
Authorities are advising people to move their things from the ground floor of their houses to a higher level as well as disconnect electricity. Besides, electrical appliances must not be used until they are completely dry. Drivers must try and avoid flooded roads where the depth of the water is not known. Also avoid driving at night in areas with insufficient lighting.
Citizens and residents may call 999 to report any case or mishap due to the unstable weather. Meanwhile the Coast Guard has called upon seafarers to be cautious of the speedy wind and high tides for their safety.
