BPW to host high level panel on women in legal sector

Manama  : The Bahrain International Federation for Business & Professional Women (BIFBPW), in partnership with FinMark Communications, is hosting a panel of executives from legal sector. 

The event aims to showcase the achievements and support the role of women aspiring to leadership roles. The event will take place today from 4pm to 6pm.

The discussion, taking place at the Federation’s headquarter at Jasra Craft Centre, is held in support of a year-long campaign launched by the Supreme Council for Women (SCW) to celebrate Bahraini Women’s Day and to highlight and promote the achievements of “Women in the legal Sector”.

Speakers on the panel will be Ali Al Aradi, Member of Parliament, Judge Rachel Karp from the United Kingdom, Qays Al Zubi, Senior Partner, Zu’bi & Partners Attorneys & Legal Consultants, Rima Hadid Al Masri, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at Mumtalakat, Haifa Khunji Partner at KBH Kaanuun and will be moderated by Zahraa Taher, Board member of “BIFBPW” and Managing Director of FinMark Communications.

Commenting on the  event, Shaikha Hind bint Salman Al Khalifa, President of “BIFBPW”, said, “BPW is pleased to host this distinguished panel of legal industry experts committed to supporting the further development and advancement of women to leadership roles in their industry.”

The Bahrain International Business & Professional Women Federation was established in December 2012.
