Celebration of creativity
Manama : The second edition of the ‘Khalid bin Hamad Theatre Award’ for National Clubs, Youth Centre and People with Disabilities concluded on a high note here yesterday.
Twelve shows were staged at the festival, which proved to be a feast for the fine art lovers in Bahrain, who thronged the Isa Town Cultural and Sports Club Hall creating a mood of festivity.
Now, after twelve shows, the time has come for to select the favourite. This will be announced next Saturday at a closing ceremony held under the auspices of HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of Bahrain Athletics Association.
The Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa Theatre Award for National Clubs, Youth Centre and People with Disabilities is organised by the Ministry of Sports & Youth Affairs in collaboration with the Media Office of Shaikh Khalid with the slogan #Painting_A_Smile.
The festival is sponsored by Tamkeen, Batelco, Banagas, Coca Cola, Al Hawaj, GPIC, Majestic Cars, Economic Development Board, Bapco, Palace Enterprises, Gulf University, Nissan, Yousif bin Ahmed Kanoo and Gadooa.
