HM King issues decree cancelling Information Affairs Authority
Manama : His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa issued Royal Decree 82/2016 cancelling the Information Affairs Authority, and tasking the Ministry of Information Affairs to assume all the jurisdictions stipulated in the relevant applicable laws, edicts and regulations regarding information affairs.
Decree 31/2010 that amended the name of the Ministry of Culture and Information and created the Information Affairs Authority has been cancelled the as well as any provision contrary to the provisions of Decree 82/2016.
