HRH Premier praises efforts of legislators
Manama : Bahrain hosting major GCC, regional and international events represents an added value to economic, political and security cooperation to come up with visions serving regional stability and growth, according to Prime Minister HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa.
The Premier made the statements as he received at Gudaibiya Palace yesterday Representatives Council Speaker Ahmed bin Ibrahim Al Mulla, Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, MPs and Shura Council members, in the presence of former Representatives Council Speaker Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Dhahrani.
The Prime Minister lauded harmony and cooperation between the executive and legislative branches, stating that it is based on patriotism, common responsibility and public trust. He underlined keenness of the government to further bolster cooperation with the legislative branch so as to fast-track development at all levels.
He also commended the efforts of the legislators to achieve citizens’ aspirations and cater for their needs, noting that all have a common responsibility towards the development of the nation.
