BTA Junior Tennis tournament ends
Manama : Abdulla Nass defeated Erwin Godinho 4-1 games in the final of the 12 years and under Bahrain Tennis Academy (BTA) Junior Tennis Tournament, which was concluded at the Dilmun Sports Club in Saar.
In the third place match, Tristan Manners was a 4-2 winner over Owen Verbeek, while earlier in the semi-finals Abdulla narrowly beat Owen 4-3 and Erwin was a 4-3 winner over Tristan.
In the 10 years and under category, Tristan Manners clinched the title with a 4-1 win over Essa Al Qattan, while third place went to Faris Al Toobli winning 4-2 against Rohan Mukherjee.
In the semi-finals, Tristan Manners defeat Faris 4-3 and Essa Al Qattan beat Rohan 4-1.
The 14 years and under event was played in the round-robin format with Freddie Salmon victorious by 4-0 over Anshuman Sonawane 4-0 and third place was won by Owen Verbeek with a 4-3 win over Abdulla Nass 4-3.
