Manama--

A new cooking show has been launched in Bahrain to encourage young men to try their talent in cooking.

A new unique cooking show, in which the hosts, guests as well as other contributors are all young men, was launched earlier this week. The show 'Men's Kitchen' is aimed at teaching youngsters, especially young Bahraini men, on how to cook simple dishes at home.

The show was launched last Saturday on Youtube with a video on how to make Caramel Biscuit. The show is directed by Anas Janahi and presented by Hamad Abdulla with the special guests making an appearance in every episode. The show is produced by Shabaka TV Productions, a multi-channel network that offers assistance to YouTube content creators in areas such as programming or channel optimization, funding, project management, digital rights management, production house, manpower etc.

"The name says it all. 'Men's Kitchen' it is not your ordinary cooking show. It is an Arabic educational cooking show on YouTube hosted by young Bahraini men which gives it a fun twist to your typical cooking show. The Youtube channel aims to encourage the viewers to make easy dishes of different cuisines in their household. But more importantly, it aims at promoting the idea of having male cooks in the kitchen and encourage Arab males to break the barrier and the stereotype of having just females in the kitchen," Shabaka TV Productions said in a statement.

Shabaka TV Productions Founder and General Manager Talal Al Ansari said, “I alone will not be able to achieve anything without the help of those great ambitious individuals around me. We are investing in people and we shall see miracles”.
