Manama wins Al Najma 92-88

Manama Club fought hard to defeat Al Najma Club 92-88 in overtime at the Bahrain Basketball Association in Umm Al Hassam in the latest match of the basketball tournament of the first Nasser bin Hamad Ramadan Sports Games and the eighth Ramadan Football Championship (Nasser 8).
After finishing the original four quarters tied at 78-78, the referee extended the match to an additional overtime quarter with Manama edging itself to victory.
It was then when Manama players won Al Najma by a 92-88 score at Bahrain Basketball Association Hall in Umm Al Hassam.
Manama tops Group A with three points, followed by Muharraq (2) and Al Najma (1) from the previous matches.
The basketball comprises two groups of three teams with the final to take place tomorrow.
