Vale Do Sol clinches AHES cup

Manama : Second favourite Vale Do Sol owned by Fawzi Abdulla Nass, trained by Fawzi Nass and ridden by Darren Williams won the seventh and final race for the Arabian Horse Equestrian Services (AHES) Cup for imported 3rd, 4th and maiden classes three years and upwards over 2,200 metres yesterday in the sixth meeting of the season at the Rashid Equestrian and Horse Racing Club in Sakhir.

A length and three quarters behind was Tom Hark owned by Al Nasseriyeh, trained by Allan Smith and ridden by Abdulla Faisal.

Madinat Jumeirah owned by Mohammed Saleem Mohammed Al Kowari, trained by Yousif Alboainain and ridden by Hussain Makki in third palce, while in fourth was Sir Charles Kunz owned by Al Afoo Riding Stable, trained by Mohammed Hassan and ridden by Andrea Fele.
