Bahraini artists to perform at BIC

Manama : Three artists have been added to the line-up of live performers at the Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) National Day Festival. 

The festival will take place from Wednesday to Saturday at ‘The Home of Motorsport in the Middle East’ in Sakhir.

Three of Bahrain’s most popular artists Khamis Zuwayed, Mohammed Jomairi and Basel Ahmed are the newest additions to the show set to be among the biggest celebrations in Bahrain. They will be entertaining the crowds with their traditional style of music on ‘Bahraini Night’, slated for Friday.

It was earlier announced that Khaled Fouad and Dalia would be performing at the event. 

Fouad’s concert is scheduled for the opening night on Wednesday, while the following evening Dalia will be taking centre stage.

Doors will be open on each day from 4pm until 10pm. Tickets cost 500 fils and can be purchased at the gate.

Besides the concerts, a major part of the festivities are the fireworks display and a traditionally styled shopping experience. 

The festival will feature corporate exhibition space, children’s activities and a play area, cultural shows, food and beverage outlets.

‘This is Bahrain’ to hold celebrations at Riffa

This is Bahrain, will hold National Day Celebrations on December 15th at the National Stadium Car Park, Riffa, from 4pm to 11pm. 

The event will feature exhibition stands from Embassies, Schools, clubs, associations, Societies, Religious Organisations and will include live entertainment throughout the day. A traditional Bahraini Souk will be recreated and there will be free food,and raffle tickets with prizes ranging from airline tickets, smart phones, electronic goods, and hotel stays. 

A special feature of the event will be a children’s playground with lots of fun activities. Entry is free.
