‘US- Bahrain’ partnership built on mutual respect’

ManamaUS values the ‘strategic partnership with the Kingdom built on mutual respect and a shared vision for regional stability and security,’ according to US Ambassador William Roebuck.

In a statement issued on the occasion of Bahrain national day, the US ambassador stressed on the importance of the 10th anniversary of the Bahrain-US Free Trade Agreement, the first such agreement the United States signed with a GCC country, and the 120th anniversary of the American Mission Hospital.

He congratulated the Bahraini leadership and people on the occasion of National day and the 17th Anniversary of HM King’s Accession to the Throne.

‘On behalf of the United States government and the people of the United States of America, I congratulate the government and people of Bahrain as you commemorate the Kingdom’s 45th National Day.  The United States and the Bahrain have long enjoyed a broad-based partnership, which encompasses fields as diverse as economy and education, security and culture. We value greatly our strategic partnership with the Kingdom of Bahrain.  We appreciate the Bahraini leadership for supporting and advancing the Kingdom’s friendship with the United States of America.  On this important occasion, we look forward to working together to assure a prosperous, secure, and peaceful future,” he mentioned.
