Bahrain condemns attack on Russian Ambassador
Manama : Bahrain yesterday condemned in the strongest terms the armed attack on the Ambassador of Russia to Turkey, which led to his death.
His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa expressed his condolences with Russian President Vladimir Putin, strongly condemning the armed attack.
The Kingdom stressed that this terrorist act is a serious crime aimed at damaging relations between countries.
“As the Kingdom expresses its sincere condolences to the Russian Federation’s leadership and people as well as to the family of the deceased, it emphasises the Kingdom’s solidarity with the Russian Federation and that it stands with Turkey in the face of extremism, violence and terrorism,” the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement.
