KFH partners with 2016 WIBC Bahrain

Manama : Kuwait Finance House yesterday announced its strategic partnership of the 23rd Annual World Islamic Banking Conference (WIBC) as its Global Islamic Banking Partner. The conference was held in ART Rotana Hotel, Amwaj, on 5th, 6th and 7th of December 2016. 

The conference held under the patronage of Prime Minister HRH Prince Khalifa Bin Salman Al-Khalifa was attended by many high level delegates from the CBB, including the governor, leading banking and intech institutions as well as senior officials from Kuwait Finance House-Bahrain.

Commenting on the importance of the conference, Abdulhakeem AlKhayyat, Managing Director & CEO of KFH-Bahrain, said: “Over the years, the WIBC has a solidified reputation as an indisputable compass for the global Islamic finance and banking industry.”  The conference was centred around the subject “Economic Uncertainties: Vigilance and Growth,” reflecting the fact that global economy finds itself at an important inflection point. 

AlKhayyat was a key panel member amongst three other influential CEOs in the industry who took part in a ‘CEO Power Debate,’ which was held on the second day of the conference. In addition, Sattam AlGosaibi, Executive Manager and Head of Corporate Finance has conducted number of media interviews during the Conference, as well as Lilian Le Falher, Executive Manager and Head of Treasury, Financial Institutions and Capital Markets was a panel member in several key workshops and debate sessions.
