New mosque to open on Friday
Manama : His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, will on Friday, officially inaugurate the opening of the late Shaikh Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa Mosque.
The late Shaikh Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa Mosque, located within the heart of Diyar Al Muharraq, features uniquely engineered designs inspired by Arab-Islamic architecture.
The mosque will also include a feature dome decorated with artistic designs and a 45-metre minaret.
The mosque will accommodate approximately 1,050 worshipers, and is located near the main entrance of the master-planned city, making it easy for worshipers from Diyar Al Muharraq and neighboring areas to attend.
Various modern community centres are also located near the mosque, which will offer Quranic teachings and Islamic studies. An events hall is also located near the mosque.
