Spartans thrash Kordal by 95 runs

Manama : Spartans thrashed Kordal by 95 runs in the BFC sponsored BCL Golden League T20 at the Busaiteen Grounds in Muharraq.

Batting first, Sparatans scored an impressive 196 for five in 20 overs thanks to a blistering knock by Zeeshan Khan (100 off 34 deliveries, 7x4, 9x6) and well supported by Lateef 55.

In reply, Kordal were bowled out for 101 with the main resistance from Farzan (45), while Nafdal (three for 16) and Zeeshan (two for 37) shared the bulk of the wickets.

MAC Superstar also won easily by 74 runs against Rockstar after scoring 167 for five in 20 overs with the main scorers being Jabber (66), Haris (38) and Bijoy (27) with Nizar (two for 36) the best of the bowlers and then bowled Rockstar for 93 with only Anil (19) in double figures and Prashanth (two for 14) the pick of the bowlers.
