BOC: Askar receives group of National coaches
Manama : The Assistant secretary-general of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS) and general secretary of the Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC), Abdulrahman Sadiq Askar, yesterday received a group of national coaches who will supervise the “We would join your training” programme, which is scheduled to start in the first week of January, at a number of public walkways in the kingdom.
The programme comes in line with the goals of the BOC to spread sports awareness in the local community and establish it to become a way of life that contributes to more health awareness in the community.
At the meeting attended by the general programmes supervisor at the BOC, Saleha Al-Rumaihi, Askar welcomed the coaches and thanked them for their contribution to serve the Bahraini community and spreading sports awareness among its members.
Askar stressed that all BOC officials led by, Representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the SCYS, President of BOC, HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, pay great attention to such programmes, expressing confidence in the efficiency and ability of Bahraini coaches.
Askar wished the coaches success to those involved and he BOC to meet all their needs.
