Strikers crush Frist Care Tornado
Manama : Strikers beat First Care Tornado by five wickets in the latest matches of the Sprite Sponsored BCL Premier League T20 at the Busaiteen Grounds in Muharraq.
Batting first, First Care Tornado scored 176 for seven in 20 overs with Sameer (65) and Suhail (45) the main scorers and Sugapathi (two for 40) the best of the bowlers.
In reply, Strikers reached the target scoring 177 for five with a delivery to spare after needing 15 off the last over, with Shyju (34) top scoring and Mitya (32) scoring the winning runs for a thrilling victory, with Sameer (28) chipping in with useful runs.
