Zayani Motors win by 17 runs in BCL League

Manama : Zayani Motors defeated Awali Bapco by 17 runs in the Sprite sponsored BCL Diamond Knockout League T20 at the Busaiteen Grounds in Muharraq.

Batting first, Zayani Motors scored 170 for four in 20 overs with the main scorers being Waziq (78), Kamal (25) and Pramod (24).

In reply, Awali Bapco were restricted to 153 for five in 20 overs despite fine efforts by Jagan (53) and Sanito (44).

Indian Rising Star edged out Pak CC by two wickets in a low scoring affair after the latter were dismissed for 83 with Shami (22) top scoring and Ameer (five for 27) being the pick of the bowlers, while Indian Rising Star reached the target scoring 86 for eight in 13 overs with Shamzeer (24) the main scorer and Shami (three for 21) the best of the bowlers.
