Citi Fact Awards 2016 honours top dining destinations
Manama : Bahrain's best and most popular dining venues were recognised for their excellence at the annual Citi Fact Awards 2016. 72 awards were given out across 36 categories covering over 200 venues.
Fact Bahrain Magazine hosted the prize giving ceremony for the seventh year running at the 5-star ART Rotana Hotel, Amwaj Islands.
The awards recognises excellence in the food and beverage industry, with two awards handed out in each category: the Best and the Favourite.
Talking at the event, Greg Hughes, CEO of FACT M.E. Publishing, said: “This year’s successful campaign saw a huge response from our readers with over twenty thousand unique votes – the most we’ve ever had in the online public vote.
Usman Ahmed, Citi Bahrain’s Chief Executive Officer said: “Citi Bahrain has more than 70 participating venues in its dining scheme, most of which participated in the Citi Fact Awards, through which customers can enjoy discounts.”
The Citi Fact Awards have enjoyed seven years of successful campaigns in Bahrain so far, with hundreds of venues awarded for brilliance over the years. The awards are also held regionally, going into their third year in both Abu Dhabi and Qatar for 2017.
