BMSA Sailing team congratulated
Manama : Bahrain Maritime Sports Association (BMSA) Sailing team, who won two gold medals and a bronze in the Arab Sailing Championships last week in Abu Dhabi, hailed the Assistant secretary-general of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS) and general secretary of the Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC), Abdulrahman Sadiq Askar.
Askar received the BMSA delegation headed by its vice-president, Noman Rashid Al-Hassan and conveyed the greetings of Representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the SCYS, President of BOC HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa for continuous success.
Askar assured that this regional achievement is an addition to the series of achievements of the BMSA sailing team presided by Shaikh Khalifa bin Abdullah Al Khalifa and board members under coach Qassin Ben Jumia.
Abdulla Janahi clinched gold medal in the Laser Standard category and Abdulrahim Abdullah the bronze medal in the same category, while Dawood Abdulla won gold in the Laser Radial.
