Towards a stronger workforce
Manama : Joint national efforts between social communities are essential in enhancing employment opportunities and the development of private sector in the Kingdom, said Minister of Labour and Social Development Jameel Humaidan.
The Minister deputised by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, made the statements as he attended the 32nd honouring ceremony of outstanding workers
and institutions in the private sector.
129 workers, including administrators, entrepreneurs and institutions, were presented with certificates of appreciation and commemorative shields at the ceremony organised yesterday by the Labour and Social Development Ministry at Isa Cultural Centre.
“Bahraini workforce play a huge role in building the country and ensuring its prosperity. Integrating the national competencies in the development process will promote their welfare and ensure success and stability of institutions and companies,” the Minister said.
Jameel Humaidan also voiced confidence in Bahraini leadership’s ability to bring about more achievements to citizens while pointing out that economic challenges posed by volatile oil prices should not impede efforts to generate new quality job opportunities.
The Labour and Social Development Minister and Labour and Social Development Ministry Undersecretary for Labour Affairs Sabah Salim Al Dousari together distributed the awards.
