NGO’s urged to stick to norms while hosting foreign delegations
Manama : Ministry of Labour and Social Development yesterday stressed the need to remain committed to the values and traditions that protect civic peace, and avoid activities that may spark discord among the citizens.
A joint statement was earlier issued by affiliate NGOs condemning malpractices by some parties following the visit of an unauthorised group to the Kingdom.
Praising the statement, the Ministry also urged to respect religious fundamentals and social principles while hosting foreign delegations.
The Ministry, in its statement, also stressed to refrain from carrying out activities that may provoke national feelings, or ignite religious discord. The Ministry issued a circular to all authorised NGOs that fall under its umbrella, in this regard.
