Bahrain condemns terrorist attack in Istanbul

Manama : The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain has strongly condemned the “terrorist attack that took place today in the city of Istanbul in the Republic of Turkey, which killed and injured tens of people.”

“The Ministry expresses its sincere condolences and sympathy to the Turkish government and the families of the victims and wishes the speedy recovery of all those injured by this heinous terrorist attack that aims to kill and threaten lives in contradiction to all religious, humanitarian and ethical values and principles,” a statement issued by the Foreign Ministry said.

“The Foreign Ministry reiterates the solidarity of the Kingdom of Bahrain with the Republic of Turkey and its support of all measures it adopts to ensure its security and stability as well as to safeguard the safety of its citizens and residents.

“The Ministry, furthermore, renews the Kingdom of Bahrain’s rejection of the use of violence and terrorism in all their forms and manifestations, as well as call for the international community to join efforts to eradicate this phenomenon that threatens all nations,” the statement added.
