Ali Essa takes Grand Prize
Manama : Ali Essa (49.18 seconds and four faults) riding Elcaro Van Papinglo Horse Pride, won the Grand Prize in the Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation (BREEF) Show Jumping Championship for Adult (Class 3 riders over heights of between 130-140cms) at the Bahrain Defence Force Equestrian Centre in Sakhir.
In second place was Ahmed Mansoor (55.48, 18 faults) riding Edward Du Sud BDF with Saber Salman Faraj (two faults) riding Bahrain BDF in third place.
Essa (27.94) was in top form again, winning the Adult Class 1 over 100-110cms obstacles riding Manny and followed by Sayed Mohammed Khalaf (30.71) and Mohammed Al Jahromi (31.34) in third.
Meanwhile, Mohammed Jassim grabbed the winning spot in Adult Class 2 over 115-125cms, with Ali Hani in second and Saber Salman in third place.
In the two Junior classes, Maayof Al Romaihi won the first class and Ahmed Al Hashili clinches the second class.
