Nationals to get priority in jobs
Manama : HRH the Prime Minister yesterday directed to go ahead with efforts to create job opportunities to Bahrainis, stressing that they should remain the first choice in the employment process.
Commenting on a report on the labour market indicators in the third quarter of 2016, the Cabinet expressed satisfaction with the ability of the national economy to attract new investments.
The size of the labour force in Bahrain has also risen to 770,000, an annual growth of 7.3%.
Data also showed a steady rise in the wages by 2.6 per cent in private sector and 1.8 per cent in public sector.
