A brunch with a twist, discover the brand new reworked Brunch at Bushido... Brunches are very popular but, as usual, Bushido brunch is more than “just a brunch”. From the guests’ arrival, they will smell the flavors of live cooking stations, from sushis to Teppanyaki, it will be a pleasure for eyes and mouth. With a selection of its best-selling items and some new creations, Bushido Friday Brunch will offer a mix of Japanese and Continental dish selection, with “a la carte order” and “live cooking stations”. 

FUNCTIONAL ANATOMY FOR PILATES AND YOGA

Join us for a two-day workshop on functional anatomy!!! Roberta and Josie are super excited to co-teach this exciting course that will explain in depth biomechanics and alignment and how it applies in both Pilates and Yoga. This will count as 7-13 hours of CEUs for YA in Anatomy & Physiology (Level 1 and Level 2). This will count as filling your prerequisite training for Pilates teacher training. 

PONGAL HARVEST FESTIVAL

Venue: The Indian Club 

Bharathi Association is planning to celebrate their annual event Pongal - the harvest Festival in style in co-ordination with the Indian Club. The grand gala colourful celebration with the same vigour and enthusiasm as in homeland with plenty of added entertainment will be held on coming Friday at the Indian Club premises. General Vijay Kumar Singh, the Indian Minister of State for External Affairs will preside the event as Chief Guest. Indian Ambassador Alok Kumar Sinha will be the Guest of Honour. The Indian School Band will be giving Guard of Honour for the visiting minister. 

Pongal, is the cultural and heritage celebration of the South Indian state of Tamil Nadu. Today, Pongal has become a vibrant festival with a global presence celebrated with much amusement by Tamilians all around the world. Kolam decorations, adventurous sports and games activities, and pongal rituals will be in the morning session starting from 10.30am followed by cultural dances. At noon traditional Pongal feast will be served to members, guests, well-wishers, and invitees. The highlight of the evening session will be Musical Programme performed by cine fame playback singers Durairaj and Anita supported by Music City Orchestra led by Mohamed Rafiq which will be kicking off at 6.00 pm.
