Alba holds ‘Town Hall Meetings’ to analyse performance

ManamaAluminium Bahrain (Alba) held the opening session of its annual ‘Town Hall Meetings’ yesterday at the Alba Oasis Hall.  

The meetings will be delivered by Alba’s Chief Executive Officer Tim Murray wherein he will give an overview of Alba’s performance in 2016 and lay emphasis on the Company’s expectations for 2017 through presentations and interactive sessions.

The two-week long ‘2017 ‘Town Hall Meetings’ will be attended by Alba’s Executive Management, Directors, Managers and employees at all levels along with VIP guests. 

For 2017, Alba’s Expectations revolves around four key topics: Safety Tomorrowland; Line 6 Transformation; Titan DNA and Do Your Job A+. Project Titan Phase II on track with savings of US$78 per mt as at December 31, 2016. 

Addressing the employees during the Town Hall Meeting, Murray said: “The Town Hall allows us to reflect on 2016 and help us to steer the way forward for further change 2017.”

The ‘Town Hall Meeting’ was a special initiative introduced by Murray in January 2014 as a way of directly communicating with the employees and update them on Alba’s performance and goals.
