Women on visit visa dies in Bahrain

Manama:  An aged women who came to Bahrain on visit visa to join with her sons, died of heart attack yesterday.

Sarada Shankar (65) who hails from the  Indian state of Kerala passed away at her son’s accommodation in Adliya.

She is survived by her five children, of which two of them, Sudheesh Kumar and Suresh Babu, are in Bahrain.

Sarada had planned to come to Bahrain with her old friend and neighbor Narayani who wished to spend time with her children here.

Unfortunately due to certain error in passport Sarada’s journey was delayed.

Naryanai had come to Bahrain to join her sons on December 26 and  Sarada  reached here on January 13.  

Both Nayarayni and Sarada were staying at the flat  of Sudheesh Kumar when the tragic death happened.

Sitting on the sofa she was watching television when she collapsed and died, Sudheesh Kumar told DT News.  

The dead body is kept in Salmaniya Medical Complex(SMC) mortuary.  Social worker Sivakumar Kolleroth said the body will be repatriated to her hometown possibly today.
