Bahrain manager in the dock for selling sand cheap
Manama: A marine dredging company has filed a case against its manager accusing him of selling sand below market value to his accomplice in another company who later resell it at a higher price.
General Director of Anti-corruption and Economic and Electronic Security announced this today as part of Probes of Bribe and Embezzlement cases in the private sector.
He said that the case was being investigated and the two companies were searched following a warrant issued by the Public Prosecution.
Records of selling sand, transactions of purchase and electronic accounting devices were confiscated.
Legal procedures were taken to refer the case to the Public Prosecution.
