Shaikh Khalid lauds Kuwait’s efforts
Kuwait City : Minister of Foreign Affairs Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa yesterday hailed the efforts made by Kuwait in strengthening defence and security cooperation among Istanbul Cooperation Initiative (ICI) countries.
Speaking at the inaugural session of ICI centre, he said the newly inaugurated regional centre represents a milestone in the collaboration of the ICI member states that aim to achieve common interests and confront regional challenges. He said that the meeting illustrates the progress of the achievements of the ICI and reflects the importance of the joint work. The minister stressed that Bahrain spares no effort to maintain security and peace in the region and is keen on strong cooperation and close coordination with NATO.
