Captain Mahmood is President of Arabian-African organisation
Manama : The Responsible Editor of DT News Captain Mahmood Al Mahmood has been appointed as the new President of the Arabian-African Unity Organisation in the Egyptian capital.
African and Arab personalities and dignitaries attended the event, including the Ambassador of Bahrain to Egypt Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa, Arab League Assistant General Secretary Ambassador Khalil Al Thawadi, the organisation’s Media Consultant Ahmed Al Murshid, Former Egyptian Assistant Interior Minster General Ahmed Jad, the Organisation’s Relief Committee Head in Kuwait Shaikh Fahad Al Fahad.
Al Murshid welcomed Capt. Al Mahmood and praised his administrative experience, which he said would help the organisation improve and attain more achievements.
Former president of the organisation Dr. Haitham Ghunaim also welcomed the appointment of Capt. Al Mahmood, affirming that the organisation members are looking forward to cooperate with him to achieve the organisation’s aspirations.
Ghunaim confirmed that the organisation will work hard to aid the distressed people in Syria, Yemen and other countries.
