BAHRAIN MERIDA wins in WorldTour debut

Manama  : Stage 3 (ITT – 11,9 km) at Vuelta a San Juan is the Stage which BAHRAIN MERIDA and Ramunas Navardauskas will remember forever.

"Looking back, I was not thinking to win – explains Ramunas – I just wanted to give my best and try to make a good race. We had tried several times the route and was a kind of time trial where you had to push very, very strong."

With the victory in the ITT, the Lithuanian rider also won the GC jersey with a 3" lead on the Dutchman Bauke Mollema.
