Get ready for a fun-filled shopping experience

Manama : A unique shopping experience awaits visitors and shoppers at the participating shopping malls in the third edition of ‘Shop Bahrain’, the largest shopping festival in the Kingdom. 

During the 30-days celebration which seeks  to revitalise the tourism and retail sectors in the Kingdom, mall visitors can enjoy shopping while joining the fun events and activities hosted by the malls. 

Participating shopping malls will be hosting a variety of events over the weekend, including the ‘Box of Luck’ in Seef Mall that is held daily from 12pm to 10pm. While Seef Mall Muharraq visitors will get to enjoy playing ‘Footypool’ whereas Yateem Centre will be hosting, a number of interactive family-friendly games from 4pm to 9pm on weekends. 

‘Origami Workshop’

Shoppers during the weekends,will be able to attend an ‘Origami Workshop’ which is held at Dragon City from 5pm to 11pm, as they will get the chance to learn the Japanese technique of folding papers. 

The ‘Shop-A-Wish Tree’ will also take place at the mall throughout the duration of the Festival and shoppers who purchase a total of BD20 in Dragon City will enter into the weekly draw and grant their wish.

Other activities that will be available throughout the festival’s duration is the ‘Art Wall’
hosted at Al Aali Shopping Complex. 

Enma Mall will be hosting a ‘Mini Golf’ circuit daily from 4pm to 10pm, for all family members The young visitors of Saar Mall can enjoy the ‘Kids Cinema’ and watch their favourite Disney movies every day until 2nd February from 10am to 10pm. 

Wide range of prizes

Shop Bahrain will also allow shoppers to win a wide range of prizes including one of the 12 cars and over 25,000 valuable prizes through the weekly raffle draws held throughout the festival. The shoppers will get 3 points for every BD1 spent at the participating hotels and shopping malls.

The third edition of the Festival is co-organised by the
Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA) and Tamkeen and is held in cooperation with the partners from the public and private sectors such as Batelco, Gulf Air, and YK Al-Moayyed & Sons.

‘Draw-A-Smile’ at Bab Al Bahrain

As part of the activities of the third edition of ‘Shop Bahrain’, Bab Al Bahrain Mall will host a ‘Draw-A-Smile’ photo booth on Friday and Saturday 27th and 28th of January, 2017.

Visitors of the old market can take pictures with their friends and family in traditional clothing and instantly send their photos to their personal e-mails or social media accounts. The activity will be held on 27th January from 12pm until 6pm, and on 28th January from 8am until 2pm.

Wide array of events at  ‘Festival City’

A wide variety of events and activities such as carnival games, an outdoor market, an outdoor cinema, and live theatrical and musical performances have been arranged at the ‘Festival City’ in Bahrain Bay which will continue until 4th February.

The price of entry to the Festival City is 2BD for adults and free to those under the age of 6. The entrance fee includes for 4 complimentary tickets to use at any of the carnival games and rides. The ‘Festival City’ opens its doors on weekdays from 4pm to 10pm, and up to 12am on weekends.
